It is not easy to keep a blog up. Every night I think to myself, I should really sit down and type on my blog. I just never know what to write. Do I write about the weather, work, the kids, etc? Well, I guess tonight I am just going to write about "random nothings."
We have been keeping busy. Both Parker and Aubree are both in swimming lessons on Wednesday nights and Aubree is in dance on Tuesday nights. Next month Parker will start baseball. I try to not put them in too much at once. They are too young to be running all over to different activities. Parker would like to go to Karate, which he probably will, but I told him he has to wait until baseball is over.
I have also been keeping busy working. I work my normal 8 to 5, Monday thru Friday job and also every other weekend at my part time job. I also still try to keep up my baking skills and bake "goodies" and cakes every once in a while. I would some day like to improve my cake decorating skills and have decorate cakes as a part time job. Rob has been busy working and fishing. He would like to fish more, but with gas at $3.54/gallon, it really is not in our budget.
I go in to the cardiologist in April or May for a recheck ECHO. I am hoping for good news. I am not sure what the next step is if my heart function has not improved. I have noticed more and more young people are dying from enlarged hearts. Am I more aware of it because of my condition or are there a number of people out there with undiagnosed enlarged hearts. There has to be some type of screening that doctors can do during physicals. Would it be appropriate for everyone to have an ECHO done every year or every other year.
Well, I could go on forever, but I better save more thoughts for another post.

Something New
So, I was just sitting around doing absolutely nothing and decided that I really wanted to start a blog. Why? I don't really know. Since I am living with heart disease and refuse to start a CaringBridge site, I thought it would be a nice way to let people know how I am doing. Basically, I am doing it for myself. I think it is good for a person to journal. I am not one to keep a "diary," so a blog is the next best thing. It is either that, or I will start writing it all on facebook. Right, that would be a good way to have a lot of people delete you from their friend list.
